DEYAP is currently implementing major technical projects for the improvement and expansion of the Water Supply Network, aiming at the utilization of the new Water Supply Reservoir installed in “Kambi”, Agairia. In particular, this is a group of projects, with pipes of a total length of about 5.000 meters, made of PVC and PE pipes of the 3rd generation. These interventions will greatly improve the low pressure problems that occur during the summer months in the area of Kambos, Voutakos, Pounta and Alyki. At the same time, old problematic asbestos networks, longer than 3,000 meters, are isolated and replaced. The projects are implemented internally by DEYAP’s staff and have a budget of more than 120.000 €, including the supply of the tank, a budget entirely covered by the Company.
