Faithfully applying the provisions of Greek and European Legislation, DEYAP proceeds 4 times a year to sampling at the outlets of the three Waste Water Treatment Plants. In particular, with the assistance of a port police vessel, samples of seawater and sand of the bottom of the sea are taken, and sent to an accredited laboratory for chemical analysis. Thus, the excellent operation and efficiency of the units is checked and confirmed.
